Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall collection has heavy religious under tones. In fact, I think if females were ever allowed to be bishop, they could wear some of these pieces and it’d be seen as completely appropriate. The collection includesivory “communion lace” dresses and luxe white fox, astrakhan, and shaved mink fur. Black dresses encrusted with baroque metallic gold necklines stun. And organza frills frame portholes through which lace bras can be seen. Amazing. I can only imagine what Sarah Burton has in store for Fall/Winter but I’m definitely liking the direction.
